   I loved Allied. radio. I built the Star Roamer Radio, Span Master Radio, A tube tester, and Several other kits.

     Was Allied more of a kit company, or did they sell a lot of manufactured products as well?

   I once had a Span-Master, pictured on the catalog cover. Built it from the kit. Super-regenerative. Didn’t work very well. Maybe I had too little antenna.
