Sometimes the pricing on eBay for vintage items like radio tubes and parts is a bit bizarre. This one, however, is even more egregious than most. This is a 1LA6 tube, a converter tube used in some 1940s-era battery radios – yours for the low, low price of only $8,795.00.
The same tube, also new old stock from Antique Electronics Supply (TubesAndMore.com) – a site with somewhat high prices for tubes – offers the same 1LA6 for just $6.50.
I think I know which one I’ll be buying…
