Around 1:30PM today, the top floor of the Seattle Housing Authority’s senior housing building Green Lake Plaza caught fire. Smoke was pouring from two windows and from the top of the stairwell, the green building behind the church.
Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene, though, and just a few minutes later streams of water and from a hose and plumes of steam were visible. There was a news chopper around, so I imagine there’ll be a story on television about it later.
Update: This has made the Seattle P.I.. No injuries were reported.
